All Day Tango Nuevo Event

Welcome to the next instalment of our ever popular, long standing All-Day Nuevo event at the fabulous Riley Smith Hall in Tadcaster.

The event is leader/follower balanced as far as possible, and offer codes are available to save some money if you book as a couple.

The first 10 couples to book in August can get £5 off up until 31th August – Just use the code AUGUST5 when you check out!

If you buy a ‘couple’ pass, you don’t have to dance together on the day… you just need to buy the tickets together.

THE WORKSHOPS

Classes will be 50 minutes long with plenty of breaks to rest, socialise and practise in-between.

We attempt to role-balance bookings to minimise the need for people to stand around waiting for their turn to dance. We’ll rotate partners regularly to make sure you get the most out of your classes.

17:30 – Tea time! Have a break, refuel, sit back relax and refresh your feet ready for the evening milonga

19:00 – Pre-milonga class – DJ Neo – 21st Century Tango

20:00 – Social with DJs Adam, Leanne and DJ Neo. Non-stop nuevo, neo and alternative music in a friendly, relaxed environment.

00:00 – Coats and carriages

We’re a relaxed and friendly bunch. There’s no expectation to dance in tandas, nor do we insist on cabaceo when asking for a dance- so feel free to ask whomever and however you choose.

EVENING MILONGA

The day time tickets cover the evening event as well.

The evening event is available as a separate event for those that do not have daytime tickets. You can pay on the door, or book in advance for a discounted rate.

We’ll be starting with a class at 7- 8pm, followed by 4 hours of social dancing to the very best tango nuevo, neo and alternative music.
